Hoo Was There? Owls of Bath Farewell Weekend

The Bath Recreation Ground was buzzing with excitement as visitors flocked to see Minerva's owl sculptures gathered together for one last farewell before being auctioned for charity on the 17th October.

It was the perfect opportunity to complete your owl spotting list and to re-visit your favourite bird for one last time. On hand to award star spotters (those who had discovered all 82 owls) was Olympic medalist Amy Williams who gave out prizes and posed for photographs. Amy had also created her own owl, Mr Owlet with a design inspired by her medal win at the Vancouver games in 2010.

Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown also made an appearance to award prizes for successfully finding hidden clues on his owl, FestivOwl.
